Day 10

1/320 F11 ISO 125 @ 105mm

I took a day off from work yesterday and decided to test out my new hikers before going on a long trek and regretting every step I took. Glad to say, Salomon Hikers are the way to go! I came across this angry little dude and man was he NOT happy when I disrupted his eating time. He got right in my face (3 feet away) and I honestly thought he was going to pull some crazy flying squirrel attack on me! So I took a pic as proof and got the hell outta there! Stoopid Crazy Squirrel...

Here are some other pictures I took along the hike.

Day 9

10 Seconds F16 ISO 200 @ 50mm

After a looooooooooooooong day at work on Tuesday, I needed a nice drink to relax and unwined. It helped ;)

Day 8

1/5 F11 ISO 400 @ 50mm

Mine's bigger... I didn't like the colours and shades in the picture so I processed it for B&W using a filter in my NIK Software plugin I got for Photoshop. After reading up on black and white conversion / loss of tonal range I can totally see what they were talking about... I have to play around with the software a bit more to make myself happy again :)

Day 5, 6 & 7

1/320 F13 ISO 100 @ 105mm

Like I said in before, I'm not slacking like so many of you think! My buddy Jay has a thing for yellow and I'm pretty sure he bought these yellow suspenders to match his yellow car...whatever the reason, they contrast very nicely against the vivid blue sky.

Why is Laura flying a kite? Because it's cool and you're just jealous, so there! My only gripe with this picture is that I'm cutting it pretty tight around the kite. I should have taken a step back to give the kite more room to "fly" but you live and learn right?

And here is Jay's new toy. I think we called her Betsy, but I'm not sure if it'll stick...

Hope you enjoyed my blog :D
