Week One - August 15th to the 21st
For my first theme week, I chose "Small World". I chose to take this literally and explore what it would be like for extremely small characters to live in a world in which we feel is normal.
"Ohhh S#!t"
Lately, I've been having a really hard time taking pictures. I really did not think it would be such an undertaking but each new image seems to becoming more and more of a chore more than anything else. I also felt as though my pictures started to lack substance, they never felt complete. I think it is because I don't give enough time to fully explore the subject in it's entirety. Al of this had led me to conclude that I cannot finish my 365 Day project. It was a great undertaking that helped me understand photography in such a way that I never thought I could. I will revisit the 365 day Project another time when I feel that i can commit more.
However, this does not mean that I won't continue my blog... I will be starting a new project. The length of which I have yet decided upon. It won't be as linear, giving more opportunity to work with my themes. It's a take on another type of project, where I will spend a week exploring a word. What I do with that word is totally up to interpretation. I'll be assigning words to each week and come up with as many or few photos as I feel necessary for each week.
So enough talking.... From August 15th to the 21st, my theme will be "Small World"
