Day 71
1/200 F8 ISO 100 @ 50mm Manual Flash 1/16
I'm gonna have to revisit this one sometime in soon. I thought shooting smoke would be hard but I'm pretty happy with the outcome of my first attempt! I set up my light stand in my garage, took the towel rack from the hottub and draped a black blanket over it to cut out any reflections showing up in the background and cut the lights. I quickly learned that a snooted hand held flash worked the best.

Day 70
1/100 F9 ISO 100 @ 65mm
I had to shoot some photos for the new rainboot catalogue. So Jen and I went down to a park in Lachine to do just that. Out fo the 200 or so pics I took, this one was by far the best one! I had my flash off camera in my left hand to throw some light on her face but I forgot what the settings were..

Day 68
1/3200 F2.2 ISO 320 @ 50mm Manual Flash 1/32
This is another first try at a shot that I always wanted to try and recreate. I figured it might be the easiest to shoot because of the room I had around it. I set up my SB on the right side of the sink and had a glossy white background on the left side to bounce the light back at the drops from the left. I left everything on manual; manual flash power, manual exposure and manual focus so that I had complete control over the shot. I will have to revisit this because I feel like I could do better...
